Job Description: We are seeking a Skilled Mason to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing stone and concrete work on various construction projects. The Mason will ensure all masonry work is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Construct and repair structures made of brick, block, stone, and concrete.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure and cut materials to required specifications.
• Lay bricks, blocks, and stones using mortar and other bonding agents.
• Apply and finish concrete for various construction applications.
• Inspect work sites to determine materials, equipment, and tools needed.
• Ensure all masonry work complies with safety standards and building codes.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project success.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a mason with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• In-depth knowledge of masonry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficiency in using masonry tools and equipment.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certification or license in masonry is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in masonry is preferred.
