Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) Headquarters
Glover Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria
Overview
The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) is developing a new Grade A high-rise office complex on Glover Road, Ikoyi, to serve as its corporate headquarters.
The NDIC is an independent agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria mandated to protect depositors and guarantee the settlement of insured funds in cases where financial institutions are unable to meet their obligations. Its new headquarters reinforces the Corporation’s role as a vital component of the national financial system safety net, promoting confidence and stability in Nigeria’s banking sector.
Following the fire incident at Mamman Kontagora House on Marina Street in 2015, which displaced its previous head office, NDIC operated temporarily from NECOM House. With this project, NDIC has chosen the owner-occupier model, marking a long-term commitment to consolidating its operations in a landmark Ikoyi development.
