Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Construction Safety Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all safety protocols and regulations are followed on construction sites. The Construction Safety Officer will conduct regular site inspections, enforce safety policies, and provide training to employees to maintain a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and prevent future occurrences.
• Provide safety training to employees and subcontractors.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
• Ensure that all safety equipment and gear are used properly by all personnel.
• Liaise with site supervisors and project managers to promote a culture of safety.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a safety officer in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices.
• Excellent observational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective safety policies and procedures.
• Certification in occupational health and safety or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
