Job Description: We are seeking a Skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing woodworking tasks, including the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures. The Carpenter will ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to specifications.
• Assemble and join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
• Install cabinets, shelving, flooring, and other wooden fixtures.
• Inspect and replace damaged frameworks or structures.
• Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project success.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• In-depth knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certification or license in carpentry is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in carpentry is preferred.
